Deborah Martel Obituary

Deborah L. Martel, age 58 of Fox River Grove passed away May 4, 2018 at her daughter's home in Cary. She was born August 7, 1959 in Elgin, IL, the daughter of Albert and Helen (Hauck) Martel. Deborah is survived by daughter Brandy Braxton, her grandchildren Kiara and Autumn, her sisters: Kathleen Martel and Susan (Pete) Penkava, her brothers: Skip Martel and Rob (Sue) Martel as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides her parents she's preceded in death by her sister-in-law Glory and her nephew Jason Martel. She was retired bus driver for District 13 in Palatine after 26 years of employment. Services for Deborah will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 2107 Three Oaks Rd., Cary with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM and concluding with a Memorial Service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the McHenry County Helping Paws or the American Cancer Society. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Deborah L.
