Danny Hoeck Obituary

Danny Hoeck, age 70 of Algonquin passed away December 17, 2018 at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. He was born March 29, 1948 in Gilman, Wi., the son of Julius and Alice Hoeck. Danny married Marie Vecchio on December 6, 1974. He was a beloved and devoted husband and father to whom his family meant everything. Danny served in the US Army and retired from the Matthews Company in Crystal Lake after 32 years. Danny enjoyed fishing, gardening and watching classic TV; he was the MacGyver of his family who liked to work with metal, creating his own inventions. Danny is survived by his loving wife, Marie, his children: Bryan, Danielle and Nathan; his siblings: Edward, Jane and Susie as well as many close in-laws, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he's preceded in death by his brothers Mac and Dick. There will be a visitation for Danny on Friday, December 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Funeral Mass Saturday December 22nd at 10:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul Church, 410 First St., Cary and will be followed with burial at St. John Nepomucene cemetery with military honors.
