Barry G. "Da Bear" Serio

BARRY G. "DA BEAR" SERIO Barry Serio, age 55 of Crystal Lake passed away November 16, 2016 due to injuries from a traffic accident. He was born May 18, 1961 in Elgin, the son of Leonard "Lenny" and Patricia Serio. Besides his parents Barry is survived by his wife Susan J. (nee Jensen) Serio whom he married April 23, 1994 in Cary. He is also survived by a niece, a nephew and many cousins. Barry was employed by Lowe Excavating in Cary, he was very involved with the Veteran Motorcycle groups and their efforts in raising money for charities. He loved the outdoors and all animals but especially his dog Belle. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 beginning at 2:00 PM and concluding with a Funeral Service at 6:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary.
