Anthony S. Alevizos

Anthony S. Alevizos, age 96 of Lake In The Hills, passed away October 25, 2018. He was born March 7, 1922 in Chicago, the son of Spiros and Fotina Alevizos. Tony is survived by his children: Sandy (Bart) Cammarata, Allen (Joanne) Alevizos, Frances (Carl) Traub, Tina (Bob) Switala and Tony (Debbie) Alevizos as well as 20 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his wife Marion Alevizos and a daughter Constance Solorio. Tony served our Country in WW II in the Army of the United States and was a Purple Heart recipient. There will be a visitation for Tony on Thursday, November 1, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Inurnment at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the Wounded Warrior Project.
