Predeceased by her loving husband, Lou Wallin, parents, Ida and Carl Stean, and sister, Carol Elaine Severinghaus.

Wonderful mother of Kathryn Adi Wallin, Carla Wallin (Tom Schmitt), Joan Versgrove, Jim Wallin, Leslie Wallin (BJ Negrete), and Sarah Smith (Tom).

Proud and loving grandmother of Liz Schrenk (Peter), Joe Versgrove, Matt Versgrove, Hailey Wallin, Emma Schmitt, Destiny Negrete, Kendall Wallin, Stef Smith, Ellie Smith, Adeline Wallin, and Lou Smith.

Doting great-grandmother of John, Andrew, Lydia, and Julia Schrenk.

Doris was smart and sharp, with a quick wit and infectious laugh. Our friends loved to sit around the kitchen table and laugh with Mrs. Wallin. She was an avid gardner and reader of whodunits who loved an ice-cold gin martini. Doris taught us to laugh readily and love deeply. Though we miss her dearly, she will be in our hearts forever.

An open house celebration of Doris's life will be held this Saturday, December 28, at the Trout Valley Barn, 181 Country Commons Road, Trout Valley. Visitation from 11-1 and memorial celebration at 1:00.

In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to: The Humane Society or MS Society.
