William (Bill) Tygrett, 81, of Cary, passed away September 13, 2016 from pneumonia. He was born October 28th, 1934 in Lansing West Virginia, the 5th child of 14 to Malon Howard and Ruby Irene Tygrett. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carolyn Tygrett, his children: Johnny, Tina and Mark, his grandchildren: Sarah, Amanda and Rachel and his great grandson Michael.As a resident of Cary for 47 years, he was known and loved by many. He was the owner of Bill's Marathon until the 80's and eventually opened Tygrett's Nursery until his retirement at age 68. He spent all of his free time fishing on the Fox River which is still referred to as "Papa's River" by his grandchildren. He was a loving man with the softest blue eyes, the sweetest smile and the best hugs. He isn't gone, he is just gone fishin'.Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeraql Home, 403 Silver lake Rd., Cary. Funeral Service will be Saturday, September 17th at 10:30 AM at the Funeral home and will be followed by burial at Windridge Memorial Park.
