William C. Hafferkamp

William C. Hafferkamp, age 95 of Carpentersville passed away December 5, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospital. He was born October 3, 1922 in Palatine, IL., the son of William and Ida Hafferkamp. Bill is survived by his wife Catherine L. (nee Jessee) Hafferkamp whom he married June 8. 1963 in Palatine. He is also survived by his children: Debbie (Jimmy) Rood and Mary (Jim) Petriak, his grandchildren: Sarah Rood and Meghan Rood, a brother Richard (Marilyn) Hafferkamp and a sister-in-law Bernice Hafferkamp as well as many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he's preceded in death by a son Joseph Hafferkamp, a brother Arthur Hafferkamp. Bill loved card playing and was an avid sports fan, he especially loved following the Cubs. There will be a visitation for Bill on Friday, December 15, 2017 beginning at 10:00 AM and concluding with a Service at noon at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary and will be followed with burial at Dundee Township Cemetery East.
