Robert Sturgeon Obituary

Robert J. Sturgeon, age 82 of Cary passed away November 18, 2016. He was born April 1, 1934 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Robert and Nora Sturgeon. Robert is survived by his children: Cyndi (Hugh) Quinn, Robert (Barbara) Sturgeon, Jeff (Karen) Sturgeon and Gary (Kathi) Sturgeon as well as 12 grandchildren, one great grandchild and a brother William (Mary Lou) Sturgeon. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Sturgeon. He was retired vice-president of manufacturing for R.F. Communications (Harris Corp.) of Rochester, NY. There will be a visitation on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 beginning at 9:30 AM and concluding with a Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 First St., Cary. Burial will follow at Windridge Memorial Park. In lieu of memorials would be appreciated to Catholic Charities, Rockford Diocese.
