Milton Weiby Obituary

Milton R. Weiby, age 88 of Cary passed away February 3, 2017. He was born September 8, 1928, the son of Thomas and Mary (McElligott) Weiby. Milton is survived by his wife of 63 years Philipine "Phyllis" (Milazzo), he was a devoted father of Michael (Dana) Weiby and loving grandfather of Griffin "Finn" Weiby. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by a brother Donald Weiby. Milton worked as a tool and die maker for 30 years before retiring in 1998. He enjoyed volunteering for Habitat for Humanity. He served in the Army from 1950-1952 in Germany with the occupation forces. He was a proud member of the American Legion and AmVets as well as being a lifetime member of Moose Lodge #2578. Visitation for Milton will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary. Funeral Mass Friday, February 10th beginning at the funeral home at 9:30 AM with Mass at 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 First St., Cary, with burial to follow with military honors at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery.
