Michele Katzenberger Obituary

Michele Katzenberger, age 64 of Cary, passed away on February 12, 2017 at Good Shepherd Hospital. She was born February 28, 1952 in Chicago, the daughter of Paul and Betty Thielen. Michele is survived by her husband Wayne S. Katzenberger, her children: Liane (Jesse) Weaver, John (Mary) Katzenberger, Brett Butterfield, Dana (Jeff) Borta and Chelsea Katzenberger, her grandchildren: Ryatt Borta, Tristan Katzenberger, Evan Weaver and Miles Weaver, her siblings: Paul (Kathryn) Thielen, Lyle (Cheryl) Thielen and Scott (Donna) Thielen. Michele loved her animals and also enjoyed gardening. There is a Celebration of Life being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to the American Cancer Society.
