John McCloud Obituary

John Paul McCloud of Cary passed away on January 31, 2018 at Journey Care in Barrington. He was born November 1, 1956 to the late Paul and Mary Lou McCloud. Beloved husband of Dana Mary (Carlson) McCloud. Loving father of Chris (fiancée Jessica), Adam (Alexis), Katy (Aaron) and Ryan. Dear Grandpa of Maggie, Jacob, Sophie, Connor and Abby. Also survived by his brother, David and many nieces and nephews. John was a financial planner for over 30 years and will be missed by his many clients who will remember him as a friend and confidant, as well as an excellent advisor. He was a founding member of the Cary-Grove Crimestoppers board of directors and proudly served on the Cary Police Pension Board for many years. The Wisconsin Badgers and Packers have also lost one of their biggest fans, but he will be cheering them on from heaven. Visitation will be Sunday, February 4 at Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Road, Cary from 12:00-4:00. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 5 at Willow Creek Community Church, 67 Algonquin Rd., South Barrington at 10:30 AM.
