Bertha "Bert" Churchill

Bert Churchill, age 83 of Jasper, AL., formerly of Cary passed away June 20, 2016. She was born July 23, 1932 in Chicago. Bert is survived by her children: Wayne (Cindy) Churchill, Jr., Marty (Debi) Churchill, Dawn (Jim) Smith, Diane (Jim Fox) Churchill, Deborah (Chris Collins) Minor, and Danette (Russell) Shockley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren as well as a sister Nancy Scala. Bert is preceded in death by her husband Wayne Churchill, Sr. and a granddaughter Gabrielle Shockley. Visitation will take place on Sunday, June 26, 2016 at the Kahle-Moore Funeral Home, 403 Silver Lake Rd., Cary from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Funeral Mass will be offered of Monday June 27th, 10:30 AM at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 410 First St., Cary. The interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials would be appreciated to Hospice of Southeast Hospice Network, 3001 Zelda Rd. #300, Montgomery, AL. 36106.
